Rotunda Copper Roof

First built in 1984 for the previous tenants the original copper roof was erroneously mixed with galvanized steel fasteners which over time led to galvanic corrosion also known as electrolytic corrosion.

Part of the decision to use morin s products was the strong. White planned for the copper dome to be painted white but that never happened and it developed a whitish green patina. It has a 77 foot domed copper roof and jefferson designed it to represent the authority of nature and the power of reason.
