Your ring pro requires a power source that supplies a minimum of 16 volts ac.
Ring doorbell 2 night vision not working.
I did not cover up the infrared sensors with tape.
This makes absolutely no sense to me as there is a front yard light on a pole no more than about 5 yards from the doorbell.
I covered the three infrared lights with black tape turned on the color night vision and the porch light and i get a good picture that way otherwise it s black and white and you cant see anything but shadows with the porch light on or off.
Night vision doesn t work.
Power pro is installed everything else is working fine i have reset the camera.
Not ringing your existing internal doorbell correctly.
Open the ring app.
But ring has been tenacious and through constant.
Problems can arise however when a doorbell mechanism draws so much power that there s not enough left over to power your ring video doorbell pro.
Ring pro works fine for a couple of events and then stops working.
Your ring video doorbell pro is designed to draw power from the same 16 volt ac power transformer as your internal doorbell mechanism.
Ring s video doorbell 2 is a solid performer and will keep watch on your porch with day and night vision.
All i have done is turned on the porch light during the night and turned on the color night vision in video settings.
To check the voltage of your ring pro.
Doorbell working as advertised.
